πŸ€‘ 12-Month Cash Flow Projections

What your cash flow projections tell you:

  • Track your income and expenses over an extended period of time in the future

  • Track when the income is expected to come in and from who

  • Track leads and prospects in a concrete way

  • Make guesses and set income goals for types of orgs/clients/programs/donors, etc. you want to make income from

Take yourself on a cash flow date!

FIRST, update your cash flow:

  • How much did you make this month?

  • Unexpected new income to add? Projected income to update or remove?

  • Outstanding invoices or payments you need to follow up on?

  • Expenses you need to add or change?

THEN, take a moment to reflect:

  • How did this month feel for you?

  • Did anything surprise you this month?

  • Look back at the money you’ve made so far, how do you feel about it?

  • Looking at the next 3-6 months, are there any feelings that come up for you? What are they? Where do you feel that in your body?

FINALLY, make any adjustments:

  • Do you want to make any changes or pivots to how you’re making your money?

  • Did any fears or concerns come up that you need to address in the coming month?

  • Are there any leads or prospects that you need to follow up with, add, or remove?
